Raga(ラーガ)、音階やメロディーと簡単に説明したり、説明してあったりすることが多いですが、実はとても複雑です。。。。http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%A9%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AC

The Raga Malhaar is a powerful legendary raga in Indian Classical music.
Raga Malhaar is associated with the atmosphere of torrential rains.

When the leaves unfolds their vanity and soil unwraps its soul to welcome those hundreds and millions of droplets then you know that Monsoon is here.
The sprinkling shower, the fragrance of damp earth and majestic splendor of nature announces the arrival of monsoon and inspire uplifting moods and emotions.
Fascinatingly, these moods of monsoon have found evocative sophisticated expression in the melodies of Raag MALHAAR.

Malhaar is one of the rainy-season ragas performed from June to September.
Its mood is joyful because the rain cause the crops to grow and flower to bloom.
Malhaar is frequently combined with other ragas, particularly Megha.

Apart from its association with rain and coolness, the world Malhaar is coined from two words "Mal"(filth),"Haar"(destroy) so it means destroys the filth of mind.
